This week, we decorated Eid cards to take home! We put on our aprons so we wouldn’t get our clothes mucky, then we painted our cards in lots of bright colours using our fingers.
We hope all of our friends who are celebrating Eid have a wonderful time.
At our Chadderton nursery, the Berries have been baking some yummy biscuits! They helped to measure out the ingredients, add them to the bowl and then mix them together using a spoon. Once our dough was ready, the children helped to roll it out with a rolling pin and then used to cutters to make lots of different shapes!

The Fire Department visited us at nursery this week! We learnt all about what the firemen wear to keep them safe when they put out a fire. We looked around the fire engine at all the different compartments and one of the firemen showed us the saw they use to cut into cars! Preschool children had a go at spraying the hose and the Apples children sat inside the fire engine! We gave the firemen a card to say thank you for coming to visit us. We loved learning about what a brilliant job they do.
