Outings
As part of our curriculum, the children are frequently taken for local walks and visits off the premises. Permission will be sought for your child to be included in such outings. Full risk assessments are carried out for each outing as the children's security is paramount at Tiddlywinks. Parent/ carers will be informed in advance of any visits or outings involving transportation from the nursery. While on the trip, there will always be a designated person in charge and designated first aiders.
Recent Tiddlywinks outings include:
- Visiting the local library
- A day out at the farm
- Searching for 'Rammy Rocks' in our local park
- Shopping for yummy hot chocolate in one of the nearby cafes
- Learning how to pay for things in the local supermarket
