The Fire Department visited us at nursery this week! We learnt all about what the firemen wear to keep them safe when they put out a fire. We looked around the fire engine at all the different compartments and one of the firemen showed us the saw they use to cut into cars! Preschool children had a go at spraying the hose and the Apples children sat inside the fire engine! We gave the firemen a card to say thank you for coming to visit us. We loved learning about what a brilliant job they do.
